My biggest issue? The man can't sing. He breathes, which is why he and Jessica Simpson made a perfect couple. BUT! I like his songs and I like the lyrics so I decided to just give in and like him despite of it. I'm pretty much obsessed. 4 of my 6 CDs in our car are JM.Sarahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12600725954753853049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4605492992685167996.post-44828352762620495532008-04-19T11:19:00.000-07:002008-04-19T11:19:00.000-07:00As you might know, I've been a fan since the really early days and the first release of Inside Wants Out - I got to see him back when there were only 100 people there and totally fell in love with his music and his humor.<BR/><BR/>His cockiness and attitude started to get to me and rubbed me the wrong way (not to be confused with his obvious wit and humor which are spot on) and so I haven't seen a show since 2005.<BR/><BR/>Part of that is simply that I hate big venues - the only band I go see in big venues is DMB and that's because they will forever be at the top of my list and because I get KICK-ASS seats through their fan club.<BR/><BR/>Anyway...I actually had a hard time getting into Mayer's new stuff for a while until he did the Trio thing, as well. And that tour was TO DIE FOR - it was so great - it ressurected my love for him.<BR/><BR/>As I'm typing this I just realized I missed the ticket sale this morning and I'm bummed because I really wanted to go this summer since it's with Brett Dennen who I also love.
