I saw your face and that's the last I've seen of my heart...

If you haven't noticed, I've been feeling particularly cheesy and romantic for the last few weeks. This feeling had nothing to do with Sean's birthday, or Valentine's day, or any particular "thing," but more from the knowledge that our three year anniversary was coming up and we are still as happy as ever. That anniversary was yesterday - on February 24, 2006 our relationship progressed WAY past the "just friends" we'd been since 2003 and set us on the path to where we are today. I'm happier than I've ever been. It seems so silly to say that - I thought I was pretty happy even without him - but every day I realize it's true.

We didn't get each other anything - we're just not really like that - but we did have a nice dinner out. And, I am basking in the knowledge that it's been three years and we still like each other. Still look at each other and feel an overwhelming wash of emotion. Still have great chemistry, and laugh and talk and have FUN together. That right there? Best feeling in the world.

So, enough sappiness. In other news, I stuck with my working out last night, even though I had to work late, it was our anniversary, and I am still super sore from the first night. I did two of the three I was supposed to: Total Body and Abs. Sean got back from surfing when I had about two minutes left of the abs, and was more than happy to tease me while I did the last exercises. Jerkface. ;) But, I finished anyway, and once again felt great afterwards. So great, in fact, that Sean is considering trying out some of the workouts. Just don't tell him I told you that.

And speaking of anniversaries, today is a big one for my company. We've officially been on air for 5 years. Have gone from 5 million homes to over 20 million. And it's exciting. I am in my 5th year of working here, and as one of the 6 people left who have been here since 2004, it's especially awesome for me. We've all worked so hard and accomplished so much... We're having a cocktail party at 4pm today to celebrate - it's nice to know that our hard work is appreciated and has shown excellent results.
