Adriana recommends: Chuck

I absolutely love this show. I was interested in watching it since I heard about it a year ago - it was one of the more touted new shows, and it really surpassed my expectations. It's endearing, charming, and hilarious. Also? Chuck, played by Zachary Levi, is utterly adorable. Quite possibly my new TV crush.

The show is about Chuck, a techie at the Buy More who's ex-best friend is a spy and sends him all of the nation's secrets. In an email. Which then get downloaded into his brain, causing him to "flash" on secret information when he sees bad guys. So, there needs to be a pretty high level of suspending disbelief to watch the show - but if you're able to take it as a "spy comedy" of sorts, it's really fantastic.

The character interaction is really what makes the show for me. All the actors are awesome, and they make the show not only fun to watch, but also sweet and touching.

I highly recommend watching this one when it comes back to NBC on Monday Sept 29. Netflixing or buying the first season to catch up on is totally worth it, too!
