I want I want I want!
A friend of mine at work (who read my recent blog about Homemade Oreos) walked by my desk this morning and said," Oh! Did you hear about the TasteBook website?" "No," I said, "I'll have to check it out."
Oh.
My.
Gosh!!!!
This website is incredible!!! You create your very own cook books! You can use recipes you've had, recipes you find, any recipe you want! You can upload photos. You can share your recipe books, it's all so overwhelming!
I (being the overachiever that I am) am already plotting out recipes and books to do. Desserts and cupcakes and cookies and bars and muffins and cakes. Quick meals and easy meals and extensive meals and tasty meals. Holiday party drinks and appetizers. So excited!
Also, can you imagine what an awesome wedding or housewarming or baby gift this would make? Personalized and practical and awesome. Yeay!

I agree, it's a GREAT gift idea - I have no interest whatsoever in cooking, so I'd be better at receiving one than making one. ;)
For my brother and his wife's wedding, her sister had everyone in the family & friends send in their recipes and she made her this HUGE, AWESOME recipe book as a gift - she uses it ALL THE TIME!
