Huntington Library & Gardens

Saturday I took my stepmom and sisters to tea at the Huntington Library & Gardens in Pasadena. We've been having a rough year, and I was really hoping that going to tea and wandering the gardens would be a relaxing escape for my stepmom. It ended up being a perfect day - one where we all called a "time out" of sorts, and just enjoyed each other. It gives me a tiny shred of hope that we can get through all the trouble with my sister and have the life my parents deserve.

Here are some of my favorite photos from the newly opened Japanese gardens. I'll post some more later!

This is the second blog post I've read today about botanical gardens. I really should go to the ones in and around Chicago ... you know, with all my free time. Ha. Anyway, your photos are lovely!

Those pictures are beautiful. They remind me of a Monet painting.
