Blogging about blogging.
I've really begun to embrace this whole blogging world. In fact, I don't know why I didn't start ages ago... It's been about two and a half months since I started this blog. I am pretty pleased with how it's going, even though I expected it to go more towards travel and photography and baking and random Internet stuff. I'm glad it's become the outlet I was hoping for! And also, over the last two and a half months, I've found the blogs of people I know, as well as the blogs of people I'm getting to know! I decided to put together a "cheat sheet" of the blogs I am religiously reading at the moment... here you go!
Friends' blogs that I love:
Nicky and Eric are constantly updating their photography blog at Eight 20 Photography
Dani is considering moving her old Live Journal over to Blogger while posting on our group food blog, Good Eats Here
Sarah (who I've known for close to 13 years, by the way <-- wow weird!) has Kidultery
Alex (joins the ranks of people I've known for 10+ years) started See The Blog a few months ago
Demonic Blonde (again, 10+ years) has a newly formed blog called The Mind Less Traveled
Rachel, otherwise known as my original blogging hero, has The Rhyme & Reason of Rachel
M. M. Schnee (as far as pen names go, btw, that one is fairly obvious) has We Love Snow Peas
Regina runs two blogs - Where The Hell Am I, as well as the Mayercraft Carrier Chronicles
Kit Kat has her blog - Wicked Clever - as well as being the instigator for our group food blog, Good Eats Here
Chris has long been a blogger at Asteroid F, and has recently created You Look Tired as well as joining in on Good Eats Here
Blogs I am addicted to and feel a strange attachment to the writers of:
Cleveland's A Plum (never had I desired to go to Cleveland until I started reading)
La Dolce Vita
Life With Lobsters
Marriage-101
Michelle & The City
My So-Called Wedded Life
Places Never Planned
Say It, Don't Spray It (Sarah was absolutely right when she told me I'd love Nanette's blog!)
somi (Yeah, you know how I want to go to Cleveland now? Chicago too!!)
These Little Moments
This? Is Not The Life I Ordered!
willikat (another one from Sarah!)
You are flawed if you are not free. (Jenn and I bonded when she created a Paint cartoon for me!)
And hey, even though I haven't met these people in person (yet), I feel so fondly towards them through their writing that I'd be more than happy to offer them a place to crash should they ever be in Thousand Oaks! (Though why they'd want to crash in Thousand Oaks is unbeknowst to me)
Also, some of you may not know that I also have this blog, and write on this one as well! Check them out if you have the time...
Happy reading! It's amazing I ever get anything done with all these fantastic blogs... thank heaven for Google Reader!

That's a lot of links! Thanks for including me :) I'm really excited about the relationships I'm developing via blogs. There will always be a place for you in my small Painted world :)
Glad you're enjoying. I always wondered why you hadn't started earlier either.
Since my suggestions are working out so well, I'll recommend A Girl and a Boy. Seriously, read some archives. Leah gives me blog envy and a serious inferiority complex. She's my favorite.
thanks for the link my dear! and i'm glad you now know how cool cleveland really is ; )
and i'm going to go through some of your links for some new reading material!!!
yay!
Well, looking at that little list of yours, two things occurred to me. (1) We read a lot of the same, very cool blogs. And, (2) There are at least 3 Chicago bloggers in your new-blogs list, so that gives a very strong reason why you should get your tail to this part of the country (on your way to Cleveland, of course)!
aww, thanks for including me =) I've picked up a few of the blogs you've linked, they're pretty funny. Blogs in general are funny, though, its like we took a life hiatus and now we're all caught up on the day-to-day stuff again. I'll be in Oak Park until Saturday morning, I know you're working but if you have any time in the early morning or evening let me know.
Yay! My blog is on your list! I feel so flattered.
Oh, and I just started following you on Twitter, so don't be alarmed. It's just me. I'm the nicest stalker you'll ever meet. ;)
I'm jealous of your blog hits.
And thanks for including me on your list. :)
I'm honored to be a part of your list, especially since you're a fellow Mayer fanatic! :)
I found my way here from free and flawed and now I have a whole list of blogs to check out! :)
Thanks for the blog love! Most of the blogs that I have linked (and a ton that I haven't linked yet but read) are from writer's I don't know.
It's great! Some people don't understand why I would find a stranger's blog so entertaining but I don't know how to explain it. It's addicting!
ha, I am going to test my thought, your post bring me some good ideas, it's truly amazing, thanks.
