Google Reader
I finally started using Google Reader as a way to keep up with all the blogs I like to read. I have tons already - there are so many good writers out there and they all have such interesting things to say!
Google Reader perplexed me at first, as has been known to happen, but I figured it out after a little frustration. And now I am sure I will be checking it obsessively to see if anyone else makes multiple blog posts in a day like me. Is that weird, by the way?

Google Reader has made keeping up with blogs so much easier for me. Especially with its folder options. Of course, it encouraged me to go ahead and add a bazillion blogs to it. It's not uncommon for it to reach 300 any given day. Mind you some are geeky websites & what not.
Some days I actually catch up and my Reader is empty before 5pm. I then resort to Reader stalking to see if anyone has updated.
Oh my gosh. I've already checked it three times in the last two hours to see if I have updates. Out of control!
Aaaah! I always have 1000+ entries. And I check everyday. I have too many in there. I almost wish I never started.
This is the one thing I haven't yet tried - I looked at it once and didn't really get it and so I never went back - but I see people commenting on my blog from Google Reader at times, so it's interested me. I guess I will have to figure it out.
I currently use del.icio.us and just have a category for blogs that I like to read and so I just go to the URL to track them - is that basically the same thing?
i love my google reader, i don't know what i would do with out it!
although i get very overwhelemed when i have been working a lot and don't have time to catch up on my lunch and the number gets to be 150. ugh!
